Medical Officer
Job Description
Medical Officers provide primary health care services for Valkyrie Coalition Armed Forces (VCAF) members, whether at a Health Services Clinic or overseas in support of peacekeeping or humanitarian missions. The primary responsibilities of a Medical Officer are to:

Overview
Medical Officers may serve anywhere that VCAF members are based. They work in fully equipped medical clinics, whether at a base or garrison, or in a temporary clinic while supporting operations. Their service following training is usually spent working in multiple locations. Office space and support services are provided by the VCAF. |
Basic Training
After enrolment, you start basic officer training at the Valkyrie Coalition Leadership and Recruit School in San Andreas, United States, for 10 weeks. Topics covered include general military knowledge, the principles of leadership, regulations and customs of the Valkyrie Coalition Armed Forces (VCAF), basic weapons handling, radio communications, and survival training. Opportunities will also be provided to apply such newly acquired military skills in training exercises involving force protection, field training, navigation and leadership. A rigorous physical fitness course called the Crucible is also a vital part of basic training. Basic officer training is a prerequisite for further training.
After basic training, you will attend one of four basic branch qualifications, depending on which branch you selected during recruitment.

Medical Officers attend the Medical Services School in San Andreas, United States, where they are introduced to the organizational structure and history of the Medical Service and the unique circumstances of practicing military medicine. Environmental training, an operational requirement, includes field exercises that may take place anywhere in the world.
Specialty Training
Medical Officers may apply for the opportunity to specialize their medical practice in exchange for additional years of service.
